Is anything missing from the 2024 Model 3 RWD?

There were several "cost-cutting" measures taken with the 2023 M3 RWD: Front footwell lamps installed but disconnected, A-pillar speakers installed but disconnected, front door-top tweeters installed but disconnected, rear-shelf speakers not installed, subwoofer not installed and floormats not included.

Has anything of the sort been left out of the refreshed M3 RWD? (And, yes, I know that all versions of the refreshed M3 don't have A-pillar speakers.)

As compared to the previous model M3 RWD or an M3 LR?

I have owned a 2021 SR+ and now a 2024 RWD. Those things you mentioned were not in the SR+ either. No change really. Except of course the stalks. You must be comparing to a LR, AWD model.

These are NOT examples of cost-cutting.
These are product trim differentiation features.

I'm guessing it was part of a submodule already and it would reduce efficiency or increase part variation if they removed it outright. It still saves money if you don't run the wires to it and/or skip the connection step.

Neah, they are just unplugging things to give you extra incentives to upgrade to the higher level trim / margin product in the portfolio.
If not enough people upgrade, they will unplug more.
if not enough buy low-level trim, they will plug in a couple.

That is not what is being discussed though, it is understood that it is a trim differentiation, but the question was wouldn't it save more money to remove them outright? I'm just pointing out why that may not necessarily be the case.

This is not true. The premium audio system included on the long range dual motor and performance models have the immersive speakers installed behind the headliner. The grille has been removed but the speakers are still behind the headliner.

The premium audio system has 17 speakers.
3x midrange in the front dash
2x tweeters by the side mirrors
2x immersive behind the headliner
2x immersive in the front doors
2x woofers in the front doors
2x midrange in the rear doors
2x midrange in the parcel shelf
2x subwoofer in the parcel shelf
