Is it normal for tail lights to fog?

I just noticed this evening that three of the four rear lights are fogging up.

I love my Model 3 to death, but Tesla clearly has some serious issues with wet weather.

It rains a lot here. The windshield wiper controls are an abysmal failure.

Guess I have a service request to make soon...

Anyone else seen this?

Please let us know how your service call - then service center visit turns out.

have you guys noticed your tail lights fogging in cold/rainy days? I noticed this the first day that I got the car and happens quite frequently. Is this a defect? I have not noticed this on other cars on the street

is it normal? unfortunately yes - Model S had the same issue.
should it be fixed? yes
the issue is water getting into the light assembly

that doesn't sound like normal, I have not noticed any other cars with similar issue on the same day.

Sounds like they are not doing a good job sealing it in. This has been happening since model S and they still haven't resolved this issue? a bit sloppy

that being said, I love the car.

Far beyond my previous cars (Audi, BMW.. )

I had this issue recently. I called mobile service out and they replaced my tail lights and I haven't had the issue since. My car was built in October and I picked it up mid November.

I just emailed Tesla and they scheduled the appointment. They came out within a week and they just replaced the driver's side. I see I said lights in my original message, that was a typo. They replaced my steering wheel at that time too because it was scuffed up from the factory. He was there maybe an hour. You can schedule service within the Tesla app now but I am not sure if this is for service center only or if they will send someone out depending on what the issue is.

My car had this day 1 upon delivery and was told it's normal by my delivery specialist. Might ask someone else at the SC and get a second opinion.
