Is it true the Model S has no tow hook?

I bought a CPO 2013 60 about 6 months ago, and just went outside after reading this and I don't have a tow eye, but I have something else in there.....

oh man so that's what that thing in my trunk is!

for some reason it has been resting in my trunk since i bought the car. wondered what the heck it was for.
