Sorry, but my horn works like you would expect it to. Anywhere I press on the middle of the wheel the horn goes off immediately

Yea, that's not normal. You shouldn't even here the clicking as you press.

OP, when did you get your car? Seems to be a problem with some 2018 models. I have the issue but never noticed until now, I haven’t used the horn much at all. Looks like there are various remedies for the issue: at the SC, mobile tech, and DIY.
