It does look like it is...
It is, but with a B-pillar crossbar and thicker margins due to the seals around the opening. Full glass roof has no crossbar and a larger overall area.
The pano roof has 4 pieces of glass, one of which retracts. While the glass roof has 3 pieces of glass, which does not allow retracting.
Compare your picture with this one. See the difference? They are indeed not the same.
But what I meant is that the rear part used to be solid (aluminum) and is now glass too..
The rear part of the pano roof is glass, always has been.
Pano roof has two pieces of glass: Rear (fixed), and Front (movable).
Ok then I am mistaken..
Bingo...absolutely. I'm getting Tesla Glass.
You lose the roof carrier mounts with the solid glass... but I've seen very few model S with a rack on top.
just to be aware of
I suppose you could get suction cup mounted cross bars ... if you needed
So instead of the Whispbar you'd have Suckbar..
