Is rear windshield crack still a thing in 2021 model 3?

Hey all, was wondering is the rear windshield crack still a thing in newer/2021 model 3?
Just picked up a black one and am wondering if I should tint the rear windshield.

Being black in colour, am wondering if the extra heat it picks up will make the issue worse.

Not sure about the 3, but the S has cabin overheat protection so colour isnt relevant. Maybe a 3 owner could confirm if this is also the case?

That said, with a Tesla, always always always pay that little bit extra on your insurance for full glass cover.

This applies to every brand now. All of our cars have full glass roofs and ginormous windscreens and back windows.

And with all the cameras and stuff glued to the front window it's not a cheap affair. My last car (not a Tesla) had to be towed and windscreen replaced in a workshop due to the calibration/cleanliness requirements of the sensors.
