Is the safety score attached to the car or the user account? I'm thinking about buying a used Tesla and worried maybe the previous owner had a terrible score and i will be ineligible for FSD
Good question. I am trading in my Model 3 that I got a 99 safety score in and am wondering if it will follow me to my new model 3.
I asked a Tesla rep from the Tucson service center and he said that they can probably work it out. Time will tell

In another thread, it was stated that if you sell a car in the FSD Beta queue, the new owner starts from scratch. If the car already has FSD Beta, that follows the owner to their new Tesla. Don’t know if that’s official or speculation.
Actually i went to test drive a tesla a while back and it had fsd beta on it. I even tested it during my test drive and thought that it should stay with the owner not the car but yeah it was still on the car itself
