See Elon Musk says SpaceX is still building a third drone ship - but is it for Falcon or Starship?
In February 2018 Elon tweeted about a third ASDS, and later stated it was going to be completed by summer 2019. But no one has seen it yet. Then a few days ago he tweeted the name of the ship, again, which lead me to believe that we are going to see it soon. But does SpaceX need three ASDS on the east coast (JRTI has been moved from California to Florida) just for F9 launches and the occasional FH? Or is “A Shortfall of Gravitas” a new class of ASDS that is going to be used for Starship and SH recoveries?
