Until last week I lived in Toronto, right near the subway. Now I live about an hour away so I'm driving in to Yorkville this week for lunch. I'm taking my new Model S. I'm not really sure I want to park it in any old lot. What do you guys / gals do when parking in busy metro areas?

I wish there was a Plugshare-like tool to find people closeby willing to share their driveway for a couple of hours. That would be awesome and wouldn't even cost anyone a penny in electricity.

The Manulife building and Hazelton Lane (entrance on Avenue Rd.) came to mind, no EV charging at both location but car handwashed service at Manulife Center.

Renting out parking you own would be more like AirBnB which has its own legal issues in places

but PlugShare like no-fee sharing should not be a problem. Sounds like a great idea.

    FrozenCanuck,

There is a website called parkatmyhouse.com. It is UK based but covers other countries too. Here is a search result for Toronto.
