Is there a Speed Assist chime in the Model 3?

I know some people hate it, but I got very used to hearing a chime when I go over the posted speed limit (set at +8mph or so) using Speed assist function in the Model S.

Does the Model 3 have this feature? I cannot find it in the instrument settings. thx

Page 82 says there is an option for a chime.

Yeah, it's there. I thought it would be nice to hear as well, like Waze has a beep, but I found it to be too loud, so I disabled it. So now it's just a visual indicator, which is really dumb, because all it does is make the Speed Limit indicator get a little larger. It should have a red border drawn around it or start flashing or something other than just growing a few pixels larger.

I used to find this extremely helpful.... Until my dad said it sounded like the call lights in a hospital

Ah ha! After a recent update (42.3), the speed limit chime option was enabled without my knowledge.

My wife and I have been baffled as to what this new “bonggggg!” Noise was. And now we know!
