Last night I parked next to an old VW camper and it got me to thinking. I could see a Tesla camper someday. Could drive as an EV to campgrounds then plug in for creature comforts, etc.
Maybe start with an X and do a conversion? First issue.......who would take an expensive vehicle and sabotage / modify it to create a camper? Second issue........the present gull-wing doors, while great for entry into seats could affect conversion options. Third issue..........the roof, glass and gull wing hinges and all, would prevent any kind of "pop-up" design to increase headroom.
But, maybe someday such a vehicle could be produced. Just putting it out there for all to think about.
