I got an email from Tesla yesterday that read:

Thank you for completing your Model Y order.
We appreciate your patience and will contact you with available delivery dates as soon as possible. Soon, you’ll be able to go anywhere with up to 316 miles of range and Tesla’s expansive Supercharger network.
In the meantime, explore Model Y with helpful video tutorials or convenient accessories like Model Y Roof Rack or Wall Connector for the most convenient charge at home.​

I didn't do anything to my account (the car was ordered in Feb.), so does this mean anything? Is this just because the factory is reopening or is it more concrete than that? Has anyone else gotten this?

I checked the website, but saw nothing updated.

I got one of those yesterday and today I got an email from the local Tesla office saying the car was on it's way. 26-29MAY. You might be about to get another email.

AFAIK, you're the only one who got the second message. What are the last four digits of the VIN, if I may ask?

The last digits of the VIN I got today are: 04279. Tesla guy said it was one of the first built after Fremont reopened. Given the recent QC issues that doesn't fill me with joy. I will delay delivery and get another VIN

I took delivery of a pup msm Y last week...

overall quality is excellent, I really don't see any issues..

having a small software bug but that is not QC.... get the car and enjoy...love it...

The >4000 VIN indeed suggests the factory is humming!
