Is this the best forward camera solution?

Hi everyone
although there are many solutions to prevent curbing, I think this may be the least expensive and easiest to install.

Belva BCMDVR1 Rear-View Mirror w/4.3 HD Camera w/DVR

my only real concern is to help me with parking distances from the front curb. Rear camera makes reverse parking a breeze.

I'd love to get some feedback before placing the order on Monday.

If you don't have parking sensors on your car, Tesla might be able to recommend an upgrade option for you. An alternative could be a camera capable of being mounted on your front bumper, which would give you a better view of objects immediately in front of the car than a camera placed on your rear-view mirror. I do not see how that Belva product will help you avoid hitting a curb in front of you. The camera is in the mirror. It needs to be near the bottom of the front bumper

Open EVSE has the last few front/rear camera switches left. A rear camera is mounted on the front of the car and the switch enables you to switch the camera view from front to rear on the touchscreen. Perfect for what you want.
