ISA Communications / Scheduled Deliveries

Everything signed through ISA (never got e-sign link). She said all that’s left is Tech CU has to get the wire transfer or check to them by Monday to make sure our 3/31 delivery is on time.

Email Tech CU three times and no response. Call them tonight. They need to verify everything through our delivery specialist. We haven’t technically been assigned one or spoken with one (though we were told it’s tentatively a Shannon Davis in Raleigh NC).

I get off and try to call my ISA. Straight to voicemail. I email her. Auto responder says she’s out of the office until Friday! Just great...

I’m just hoping I can get through to SOMEONE tomorrow to get this straightened out!

The auto reply message from my ISA when she was out included this Inside Sales number for immediate assistance:
(888) 518-3752

I’d give that number a try if you need this resolved ASAP. You should also have the option of bringing a check from your credit union with you when you take delivery. This is what my ISA gave as one of the options. My credit union FedEx’d the check to me and tracking shows I should receive the check on Monday which is 3 days before my delivery appointment.

PM me if they've got another Blue + Aero there, might be mine :)

Will do!

Ugh, damage during transport found last night! The night before delivery =( Some scratches/ paint chips on the rear quarter panel. They sent to body shop. I guess they're getting an update in 2-3 days (seems a while for just some scratches...) What sucks is that the quarter panel is not replaceable, only repairable..

Needless to say, my delivery appt is cancelled. Looks like I'll take delivery next week sometime so maybe we'll see eachother!

I’ll try that. Maybe it’s because we’re in NC and the Charlotte location doesn’t have a sales license they can’t actually take the check there? The car has to be paid in full by Monday according to the ISA. She said if they mailed the check to me I’d have to overnight it to Tesla.

A guy I know here found damage on his delivery day. He refused delivery and he got a new car two weeks later. He didn’t want to have a brand new $60k car that needed body work.

Ah yeah, that makes sense. Hope you get in touch with someone today to get this resolved.

My Black/Aero/FSD Model 3 VIN 67XX is on its way to LA from Fremont. Scheduled to arrive in the middle of next week. This morning, I was able to schedule delivery for Friday, March 30 at 4:15 PM.

After receiving my VIN and completing my delivery profile yesterday, my Owner Advisor called me this morning, now with access to the delivery schedule in my account, and told me March 30 was the soonest they could do, because the car isn't here yet and needs to go through a couple days of inspection once it arrives.

Awaiting email confirmation and final payment details.

Got the ISA call today! I was quite surprised by the estimated delivery date - Next week Tuesday, March 27th, pending payment confirmation!

Calendar of Events:
Reservation: March 31st, 2016. 7:30 PM
Invite: Feb 28th, 2018. 5 pm
Configured: March 1st, late afternoon. Deep Blue with 19's
VIN Assigned: March 15th (evening) 0111XX
Est Delivery: March 27th at the New San Diego delivery center off of Marindustrial Way.

Checked with our ISA yesterday - delivery date is still next week, 3/28, but was told it might slip 1-2 days "due to inclement weather." She said she would be in all weekend and would know on Monday 3/26 if the date was going to hold.

I'm sure they are going to push hard to get everything possible delivered inside the quarter.

FYI I'm in Raleigh NC and we're getting a multi-coat red M3 with sport wheels. Traded in our Model S to Carvana on Wednesday... feels very odd to be Tesla-less for a few days!

I decided to do the same thing. Delivery specialist said body work will take 2 weeks at the tesla certified body shop. ISA said a new one will take about 2 weeks. Seems like a no brainer.

Scheduled for Tuesday next week at the Fremont delivery center but may have to push it out. My purchase order that I received today contained a mistake and I didn’t receive an updated one before end of day. The signed order needs to get to my bank before noon Monday at which point I may be able to take delivery Wednesday.

Wednesday will be the 7th day cut off (my ISA said I need to take delivery within 7 days) but my husband is out of town Wednesday evening. :( We’ll have to do Friday if we can’t swing Wednesday but this is technically On Tesla since they messed up the purchase order or I could have taken delivery Tuesday.

Aaaah. I didn’t think the wait could get harder after agonizing over a lack of VIN for almost 4 weeks but these last few days are going to be .

Good to know! Thanks for the response. With the out of office message until Monday, doesn’t seem like my ISA is working over the weekend. Not that I blame her, she deserves a life other than dealing with us. But just surprised since it’s Q1 end.

I will try calling the sales team on Sat to see if I can get an update on the MVPA.

Got my final MVPA today for my delivery on Tuesday, 3/27. The pro forma MVPA that I received on 3/10 had some issues; Incorrect sales tax, incorrect down payment. My ISA said this was just a rough document. I told her "OK" and provided info about my down payment and how the the WA state sales tax incentive worked. I had assumed that by the time I got my final MVPA, all would be correct. It got down to three business days before delivery and I need to get my down payment submitted and my loan needed to be finalized. So my ISA send an urgent request to the contracts department to get things moving. After a number of discussions, I finally got the final MVPA with my desired down payment with the correct (almost) sales tax. It seems Tesla is not focusing on the financial details at the end and you have to actively keep them on track. If I had waited, I would have been very stressed on Monday as I had to get the loan finalized by 2pm in order to get a check sent to Tesla.

So my suggestion to those getting close to taking delivery and not having their final MVPA, is to actively engage with your ISA, especially 3 business days before delivery.

We finally got the CU to get our loans docs to us yesterday to sign so they could send the check out so it would get to tesla by Monday (they said they’d have that to us Thursday). ISA had said they needed the money by Monday to guarantee my delivery date.

Then CU said they’d email us confirmation and fedex tracking yesterday afternoon. Didn’t get anything yesterday.

Come on! Don’t cause a delay because that would really screw up my plans!

Great to see this thread.

I live in Fremont, CA close to factory. Configured on 2/22, VIN assigned on 3/21. No contact about delivery yet. Probably they are saving last few days of production for local delivery (coz they can't ship them far in time)

Any thoughts?

I was also assigned a VIN on a Wednesday and did not hear from my ISA until Sunday, 4 days later. Give it another day or two and hopefully they should reach out to you.
