Also, I'm seeing two different acronyms, ISA and DS. DS is Delivery Specialist, what's ISA?

I kept seeing ISA everywhere and was wondering the same thing but was too sheepish to ask. Other than always thinking ISIS from Archer (which they stop using for obvious reasons), I assumed it was acronym for Interior Service Adviser - I was in the right ballpark, just the wrong base.

Next to last milestone, got a call and delivery is scheduled for 5/11
At store reservation 3/31/16
Configuration invitation 3/22/18
VIN assigned 4/30
Delivery 5/11 (hopefully no delay)
Not to be a wet blanket, but you could have another milestone actually, that being dissatisfaction with the delivered product. Being 2 hours from the delivery center, that's what I'm living through now.

Here was my timeline:

3/31/16 ~30th in line at my local store (TX, non-owner)
3/22 Invite & Configure - White/Aero's/EAP (3-6 week delivery estimate)
4/13 VIN Assigned
4/25 ISA Contact
4/27 Payment Complete - Delivery scheduled for 5/11

This part of the wait is killing me!

Marina Del Ray delivery center called me today (5/2) and moved up my scheduled delivery date from 5/10 to 5/5. The call came in after I ACH-transferred my down payment to Tesla which changed my payment status to “Your Model 3 is fully paid.” Go figure.
I was waiting to ACH my transfer until next week but maybe I should do it today and see if I can get sooner time too, I am scheduled for MDR on 5/10 as well!

My ISA was supposed to give me a delivery date today, but after emailing him I received an auto reply saying he's on vacation until next week!

I found it interesting that I received a call from the SC saying that my car is there and ready for pickup. I tried to move the date up with my ISA, but couldn't get any response. Called back the SC and they told me that they are booked solid for people to get their cars and it wouldn't be until early next week. Its good to know the demand is there for making the cars, but looks like a backlog on delivering even up to the point that they reach the SC.

Well, I'm scheduled for delivery.

3/31/16 - reserved online before reveal

4/15 - invite and config
5/1 - VIN
5/2 - ISA
5/19 - delivery (scheduled on 5/4)
Red Aero

My financial estimate included the WA tax exemption. Runs out on the 31st. Huge relief to get in under the wire.
Wow, Congratulations!!!

3 weeks to delivery after VIN assignment - I was hoping that it'd be more like 7-10 days to get it delivered in Seattle. I'm now worried that I'll miss out on the exemption as it says we have to take delivery of the vehicle by the 31st. Was really hoping I'd get a VIN in the large batch of VINs assigned to WA this past week. May be it's the Sport wheels, I only see one Sport VIN assigned in the last week.

3/31/16 - reserved around 1:30 Pacific at the Bellevue location
4/10 - invite and 4/12 config

Could be worth calling the ISA line and asking. Might have to wait on hold for a while. They have been very busy and appear to be understaffed. When I spoke with my ISA on the 2nd, they still had slots open for delivery on the 15th at the Bellevue location on 20th st. As of today, the 19th was the earliest. If you get a VIN soon I think you still have a good chance to take delivery before the 31st. Good luck.

As I mentioned earlier, my ISA went on vacation today, which was the day I was supposed to get a delivery date. I called the ISA line, and after 20 minutes on hold the rep told me my vehicle (VIN 194xx) was still in production and I'd have to wait until Monday when my ISA is back at work.

Your numbers seem to suggest that delivery appointments are filling up twice as fast as VINs are being assigned. If that's the case, the rest of us are definitely going to be cutting it close to the end of the month.
