I’m having some issues opening and closing the driver side door. The rubber piece on the side of the door where it latches to the car appears loose, and it’s getting caught when I try to open the door. I push it back in with my finger and it will stick for a while, but then it gets loose again eventually.
This started happened shortly after I had my windows tinted. I’m not sure if that’s a coincidence or if the tint guys didn’t go a good job but putting things back together. I had assumed the latter and was going to call them to complain and have them fix, but I watched a video on tinting and don’t see any step in the process where they would mess around with the rubber pieces. But I’m not sure.
Thoughts? Has anyone experienced this? Is what’s keeping that piece in an adhesive of some sort that perhaps has lost its potency?
