Wanted to share this in case anyone’s experienced a similar issue. I got my left-hand rear-view mirror replaced today, but the replacement part doesn’t let you move the mirror towards the upper-left corner. It looks like there’s a tab underneath stopping it from doing so? The tech had to break the tab behind the mirror to make it work.
The part I had is (P) 1594111 - 00 - B, and the one that it’s been replaced with is (P) 1594111 - 00 - A. Don’t understand why you’d have to break a tab to make the mirror function as before. I don’t know, maybe I’m just crazy. Sharing a picture of how far it goes on the left-hand side - my right-hand side mirror goes all the way. The issue seems to be the revised part.
