so basically my issue is that my front usb ports will randomly reset power.. happens completely randomly but it does happen fairly often. the power to both ports (not just one side) will briefly go off then come right back on. somertimes, i completely lose power to the ports but it’s always resolved by a scroll wheel reboot.
this is not a device or charger issue, as it happens with various different dash cam storage device, chargers, and cables that i have tried out.
i had a mobile ranger come out and he replaced my usb. hub in the center console but the problem persists. next step would be to take it to the service center and see if something is wrong with the main computer. but i’d rather not have them tear apart my car for this.
i am trying to figure out if this is a hardware issue or if it’s just some weird quirk with the software.
