Issues after MCU Replacement

I just had my MCU1 replaced in warranty last Friday. It was replaced with a remanufactured MCU1. Since then I am unable to unlock the car from my phone. I am also unable to use summon (it has been enabled on screen). I am able to use keyless start and turn on the AC, but since the car won't unlock there's no way to get in without the key.

I've already tried resetting the MCU screen. Anyone else run into this problem?

did you consider/where you offered mcu2 replacement instead? How much i wonder? My MCU seems to be on the way out...

Hi mkhalasi85,

Many have run into the problem - usually on the MCU upgrade...

The service center missed the last step in their process.

Call the Service Center explain your problem and they will be able to fix it...
They may be able to fix it over the air...

I asked if I could upgrade to MCU2 and was denied because my car wasn't eligible yet. I have a 2016 MX with AP1.

The service center needs to update your certificates on your account and it will start working again. The same thing happened to me when they swapped my mcu1 a year or so ago.

Did you have to go back to the SC or were able able to fix it on their end?

It was something they just had to push out., The biggest trouble was finding someone who knew what I was talking about and able to just take care of it instead of telling me to bring it in.

Yes, give them a call or make another appointment with them. Should be an easy fix for them ....but they should have checked before giving the car back to you.

Thanks everyone. Looks like it was an easy fix. I called my SC rep back and he said "I had my level 5 tech send a reset and it should start working after you drive your car once." It started working right away.
