Does anyone have any experience with charging Model S on Tipo 3A / Scame outlets in Italy? These outlets seems to be used for electric scooters and some electric cars, and seems to offer max 16A / 3.7kW. Does it work to charge a Tesla Model S on such outlets? Is it practical at all to charge a large car on a charging station set up for electric scooters? Or are these charging stations placed in such a way that only scooters can charge, and not cars? Do you use a dedicated Tipo3A-to-Type2 cable for such charging, or do you have some sort of adapter to schuko or blue CEE? I guess this is the cable to get for this kind of charging station? @fredag I still have not (unluckily) an EV and I cannot answer to your question. But you could better put this question in this thread Italy where there are many Italian Model S owners posting that could answer to your question. I also suggest you to join the Italy Tesla Motors Club for the same reason. Italy Tesla Motors Club - Tesla Motors Club - Enthusiasts & Owners Forum
