Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, China’s leading privately-owned automotive technology group, has signed an agreement to become a technology partner of ElectroMobility Poland (EMP), an electric vehicle manufacturer backed by the Polish government, Geely Holding said on November 17.

Looks really good. Looks Mazda-ish, which is a good thing, Mazda has been on a design roll for a long time now (only interrupted by the awkward 2nd gen Mazda3). Not *too* Mazda-esq thankfully - it doesn't look like a copycat, just good modern design.

If the Polestar 2 anything to go by (another Geely euro brand EV), this Izera could get a solid performing EV drivetrain and overall good driving experience too. Hopefully they'll make this more efficient than the P2, which is the P2's main weak point IMO. (P2 is the only Geely/Volvo tech EV I've tested, maybe the Izera car won't have anything in common, it's just all I have to go by for firsthand experience.)
