I've watched one of Jack Rickard's video before and will check this one out. BTW the first part deals with his Solar panel set up. The Model 3 tear down (ouch painful to watch cutting into it) start about 30 min. in.
I couldn’t watch past the fit and finish comment. Ridiculous. The car is bashed up from nose to tail so to make such a comment is as I said, ridiculous.
We believe this car Jack's tearing down is the Tesla/Energy employee's car that crashed in the creek in Morgan Hill, Calif. One of the very early car crashes in a Model 3. Silver, same wheels, hit a tree in front and looks similarly damaged on the side from what we can tell. Also big clue it being 0079, so employee car and probably originally in California.
Here's a link to Electrek's photo of the car from Morgan Hill accident:
And here's the Salvage Yard's info on the Jack's car. The lot is in San Martin, just south of Morgan Hill. You can get a good look at the condition of the car in the photos provided including that smashed in windshield. Same leaves still in the car all the way from Calif to Missouri . Same VIN.
