Lots of myths being perpetuated in the comments section.

Yeah that's why I wrote War and Peace to try to stop them.

Thanks - it was a bit of a rush job and there is no edit button, but I hope it gets the point(s) across.

I think this is a positive development as he is very well known, it will get a lot of F1 fans and even employees talking about EVs and it's another name from the petrolhead world that has made the conversion. Of course they will all be coming in with their Top Gear education but it's just more fertile ground for schooling.

I wonder if Tesla have got him in a car yet? If not, they should.

Great work David. You should talk with James about being a contributor or consultant. Set it up and meet him at Tesla for his first drive.

don't know if you are aware that there is an ex f1 driver who drives roadsters almost every day. and has started a company specializing in Eco friendly high performance motor Turing out of Switzerland and France. his name is Eric Comas and he was a pretty successful driver in the late 80s early 90s. He has a series of roadsters which he "rents" to his customers for excursions in France and Switzerland. for long luxurious but Eco friendly weekends.

    :)
