Jan 2017 MX vs Jun 2018 MX

Hello Folks - I am debating between two used Model X's. Could you please give your insights?

a) Jan 2017 MX with ~20K miles with EAP and FSD paid for. Also has FUSC

b) June 2018 MX with ~30K miles with EAP only. no FSD.


If the pricing was the same - which one would you pick? i am leaning towards the 2018 assuming the build quality would be better.

June 2018 has AP 2.5 and faster processor/system so that is what I'd do. I have a 2017 and debated 2.0 or get a 2.5 later.

Just to add the 2017 MX is a 90D and the 2018 MX is a 75D. I think the 90D charges up faster compared to the 75D?

I would go for the 2017 90d : more range and fsd paid for and fusc and less miles

I would not go for 90D battery because they are problematic. You can search previous threads on that. Plus range is not that different between 90 and 75.

Go 90D, if FSD paid for you should get HW3 upgrade later.
