Many continue to fault Jim Cramer re: "Wah! He doesn't support/recommend TSLA." If one follows his tv show over the years one is aware that he supports/recommends up to 20% of one's portfolio can (indeed for young investors *should*) be allocated to a 'speculative' stock. And TSLA is, and has been for a good while, such a stock. A spec holding is good in that, if nothing else, it generates interest in the investing process on a day to day basis. Great for Jim's 'home gamers'.
Beyond the spec portion of one's portfolio or, indeed, in his Charitable Trust, a stock like TSLA is most definitely NOT recommended. Still. Maybe someday, but not anytime soon. Wrong class of stock! So, none of this: "I've got everything in TSLA", puhleese. Be cautious!
