Have a case of pre-interview restlessness and been exploring the forums here. Can't wait for tomorrow!
What job are you interviewing for? Make sure that you have some great questions to ask at the end of the interview...Showcase your knowledge about the company...
Product Specialist. Tesla started in San Carlos a street over from my family's company. Been a fan of theirs since the beginning, finally dawned on me to be a part of it instead of a bystander.
Word of advice: if they do hire you, don't post on these forums. Tesla doesn't seem to like that. Best of luck - it's a company that is changing the world!
Come prepared with examples of how you excel in hectic and ill-defined situations. The product specialists are juggling hundreds of orders at any given time with poor communication from above. This is my opinion and observation, of course. YMMV.
Doug_G: Here's to hoping that this will be the one and only thread to my credit andrewket and RandyS: Thanks for the advice!
AJV, if you haven't already, learn everything there's to know about the Model S and a bit about Tesla's history as well (Wikipedia could be a good resource for that). Product Specialists are indeed on the front lines and need to be able to inform and educate folks who are completely unaware of EV technology. So, exhibiting good depth of knowledge, passion and above all, great soft skills would be key. Go get 'em, tiger! Ps: Get a good night's rest and take it easy on the caffeine tomorrow
Awww. We could have pumped him for info for at least a week or so  Obviously kidding, hope you get the job and don't do anything to jeopardize it.
Hopefully he got the job! I've been looking at possibly applying as well; would love to work for an innovative company such as this.
Hi all, I have an interview with Tesla tomorrow and was wondering if any of you have had an interview and would like to share the experience? It is my dream to work for Tesla so anything that could help me prepare would be much appreciated. Any thoughts about the questions they might ask? Or any certain topic I should study more than others? I think that I already have a thorough knowledge about Tesla but im going to spend my last day getting all the small details down so that I will sound as knowledgeable as possible. Thank you for thoughts and tips! Chris
Go to one of the stores and take one of the screening tests on the touch screens. At least that is an option in the Houston Gallery. It may not be in your area of expertise, but it could give you an idea about the types of things they may ask you to do. Good luck!
