I'm looking for EV drivers who like to accompany the www.zero-race.com on their last traveling days around the world.

The vehicles must fulfill the same egilibility criteria as the zero race participants do:
- be propelled by an electric motor
- drive at least 250 km distance at an average speed equal or above 80 km/h
- be able to reach a maximum distance of 400 km per day, with a recharge stop of 4 hours during Lunch time
- carry at least two passengers
e.g. Tesla roadster with fastcharge option

Organized by Louis Palmer, well known as solartaxi driver, the vehicles and equipment of the teams are now sailing from Cancun, Mexico to Casablanca in Africa.
End of January 2011 they will complete their meanwhile 25.000 km long journey by driving from Casablace via Valencia, Spain to Geneva in Switzerland. See also:

It is possible to get picked up by DB-Autozug in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hildesheim or Hamburg going overnight to Narbonne in the South of France, limiting own driving to meeting point Valencia to two days along the maritime coast with one overnight stop in Barcelona. Also ferry connections from Genova to Barcelona (or even to Tangier) are possible.
