Joining the Tesla Family Soon, Order Placed!!

Excited to have placed my Model X order (75D) a few days ago!

Even though my delivery date is June, my Tesla rep called me today and told me that there's a good chance it will come earlier than that, most likely in May.

Quick question on something that i read another poster did. We ordered the X under my wife's new tesla account and she got a referral code. I have my own separate tesla account because i have a model 3 rsvp.

If we cancel our recent X order under my wife's account and then i order a new X under my account and use her referral code, will that work where we both get the referral credits/benefits? Or is not legit?

And no, when your wife cancels her order, her referral code will most likely no longer be valid. Sorry. If that worked, everyone would have been doing it.
