On the site, it looks like one can no longer order the DIY kit. What was $179 looks like over $300, now. I hope it comes back. http://emotorwerks.com/products/online-store/product/show/44-customizable-juicebox-an-open-source-level-2-15kw-ev-charging-station

I'll go with OpenEVSE before something much more expensive, and no more reliable. The J1772 EVSE isn't even a charger. It's just a handshake device. Oh well, just a bit bummed if they really are getting away from the kit.
Probably due to the UL listing they have been trying to get they separated the DIY from the actual one. But they did not take it off the site from what I see, just separated it out into parts: PCB: Electric Motor Werks, Inc. - Fully populated JuiceBox EVSE PCB Relay: Electric Motor Werks, Inc. - Replacement Relay for JuiceBox Power supply: Electric Motor Werks, Inc. - Replacement Power Supply for JuiceBox EVSE Other parts to make it premium: Electric Motor Werks, Inc. - JuiceBox EV Charging Stations
They show a PCB with current transformer, but then call it 'optional' . Hmm. I may go this route, since I'm not rushing. I like the idea that if any one component brakes, you just replace it. Still, I'm going to miss the hardware, and buying these items outside of a kit increases the futz factor. Maybe not $132 worth of futz, but we'll see. Thanks. Kits are still being offered, but you have to contact Dorian through either the JB-support or info email alias first.
