I will make sure I keep it garaged and spotless! I keep my $10,000 black Saab pretty clean so a car 10 x as much I will keep spotless! Big day tomorrow, if they announce another delay in asking for a refund and will reorder. Also looking at the 8.0 problems I'm going to keep it on 7.0 until a few incremental updates so hopefully they won't update it before I pick it up!

Hi there,

Just bought an inventory solid black S60 from the Melbourne depot; apparently someone cancelled their order. It is currently at the docks and delivery is "within the next two weeks". Can't wait! It completely base though, so hopefully that won't be an issue. Standard cloth seats, but another 60 they had out back with cloth seats looked good though. Does anybody know if the American leather seat covers you can get for Tesla will fit a right hand drive? Should be no difference? Interest as we have a toddler who is fond of throwing food around in the back...

Also i'm interested in the ecohitch for Tesla that you can get in the USA too for carrying bikes. Anybody fit a tow hitch on their S here yet? It would just be for bikes so would not need to take much weight.
Anyway, will post photos when it is delivered. Will join the new club and see you all at Baby Pizza in Richmond sometime soon!
Cheers
Jon
Congrats Jon, really exciting, I believe the seat covers are fine "make sure you clarify the next gen seats as I think even the cloth are next gen, if not sure ask your DS specialist.....probably James.

I think the seats are a different shape to next gen Puttit, thinner. Some people prefer them apparently.

Well I had an SMS from Tesla saying the S60 are approved but now we have to wait for "publication". And they don't know how long that will be. Oh dear.

Hi, the eagle has landed!
Car safely home in garage!
Very smooth drive home, had to drive back in rush hour but no problem. Have to watch the extra width over the Saab but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Already on 8.0 but seems fine, didn't get one nag on the way home but only used autopilot a little bit. Just cleared the garage doors, will try summon on the way out in the morning. Very excited, thanks for all your comments and support. Will be at the Edendale farm sustainability festival in Eltham on Sunday in the Tesla if anybody wants to see it!

Just spent 20 minutes looking for the web browser then realising it's not in the oz ones!

My teacher coworkers tomorrow ain't going to believe it... going say it's a loan car haha!
