Just completed the Delivery process for 2013 P85

I saw the car on Saturday at the Atlanta, Decatur location and took delivery this afternoon. What a car! Looking forward to sharing and learning.

How was the car? Any seat wear with 47k on the tan performance seats? Any notable chips, dings, etc in the paint?

Car is in prestine condition, no sign of any wear on the tan leather/seats or paint.

I just finished applying a coat of Sonax Polymer Net Shield followed by a coat of Carnauba and inspected it from any angle...will post up some photos later. With Sonax + Carnauba....the red color just pops!

When I saw the car, it was sold, then un-sold due to changes in buyer's life situation. Therefore all that needed finalization was my trade-in amount confirmation and the MVPA. MVPA is Tesla's term for the Buyer's order that shows the out-the-door figure.

Here's my timeline...

• On Saturday, my trade was evaluated ....as an estimate.
• On Monday after the "inspection" of my trade, the trade-in estimated value was confirmed and it was presented to the buyer(s).

• On Tuesday, I received the final confirmed trade-in valuation and the MVPA. My Delivery Specialist had to wait on Tesla HQ overnight to get the Market Valuation on the P85 and the TAVT amount, GA state tax on CPO minus Trade delta. I had to wait for this to final out-the-door amount that is shown on the MVPA to secure financing.
• On Tuesday, my credit union (IBM SECU) approved me and I picked up the check, got a good rate 2.89% for 62 months. Planning on paying it off soon, at the latest before CPO warranty expires.
• Before day of delivery I watched a bunch of YouTube delivery/orientation videos so I was primed for delivery and had just a couple of questions for them, finished the paperwork bought the pano shade from parts and just had to wait for it to charge. They should have charged it and ready for delivery but oh well, got to see the supercharging process.
• I asked them to charge it 100%, it was almost done, was at calculating time remaining stage, which displayed an estimated range of 253 miles, that's not bad for a battery with 47K miles!

Lesson Learned: To expedite the process, get the "inspection" on the trade done on the same day as the test drive (if looking at CPOs locally) so the trade is submitted to the buyer(s) and the MVPA is generated.

So in terms of communication the Preowned Advisor was exceptional...relative to that communication wise, the DS...I wouldn't rate exceptional but meets expectations, responded to my emails and returned phone calls. Congrats on your new S!

Can't wait! I bet you're loving yours. Are you from Atlanta? Have you checked out the SC there (Atlantic Station) yet? We don't live there, but expect to travel through Atlanta next month and need to stop at a SC either there or in Decatur.

Loving mine! The P85 replaced my second car. Only after end of July (Leaf lease return) will the P85 will be my daily.

I am in the ATL suburbs. Decatur has 4 SC stalls. I have yet to visit the Atlantic station SC. Decatur is a little closer to me by 3 miles.

Thank you both. I agree that red is the color to get. This pic was before Sonax and carbauba. After a few more costs will try to post some pics with a proper camera.

For me insurance is $674 every 6 months. $100K/$300K/$100K, with $100 deductible on both comp and collision.

I would be interested to see what Florida EV sales are like as a number of the CPO cars I've been presented with were Florida cars.

So I bought my CPO in mid June...this week received a check from Tesla for $3.00 in overpayment towards GA Lemon Law...hmmm
