Just got my model Y, should I take it to the service?

Hi all,

Just picked up my model Y and found these non alignments and a paint issue.
Are these repairable? I'm just not sure if I would need to take the car to the service for issues like these.

The panel misalignments seems *extremely* minor. The only one I actually see is the rear passenger side door and if they do fix it, you run the risk of them creating another misalignment somewhere else.

The rear gate looks normal to me. That’s how my and every other Y I’ve seen is. The gate panels aren’t quite as wide as the ones in front of them. Unless there’s something functionally wrong, I would live with it. But of course it’s up to you.

The only thing I’d make a fuss about is the paint chip. I bet they could touch that up with mobile service. When you make an appt upload of pic of the paint chip.

Agreed, unless the panel alignments are causing some other issue I’d leave the hatch alone because their solution for that usually creates some damage to the hatch hinges that would have to be painted over. Way more hassle than it’s worth.

But I would totally have them at least fix the paint chip with some touch up paint or something
