Just got my pack replaced: 1014116-00-c

It’s this part right here. That’s a lawyers dodge if I ever seen one. What are those other factors…I know my car wasn’t getting 400 on a full charge but it was north of 350. You can’t get that without getting me a 100kWh pack. I may be wrong but we shall see.

Tesla maintains the average range for the variety of vehicle configurations. Let's say that the average for your class of cars is 350 RM. If your car had 370 Rated Miles before the failure you are entitled to get at least 370 miles. You are not the only one in this situation and others have been reporting to have received packs with the RM at least equal to that of the original Battery before the failure occurred. I know of a few unlucky exceptions, but those owners went back to Tesla dissatisfied, and with a copy of the document I posted above, and got a better pack with the range at least equal to that of their original Battery before the failure occurred.

When they installed 1014116-00-C on my 2015 S85 a few months ago, the two rear subframe shear plates were replaced. However, they did not replace any rear suspension links as it has been the case with two 2014 Model S85 cars within the last 6 months that I'm aware of.
Curious, how long did you have to wait for the replacement battery? I'm going on 3 months of waiting for the replacement battery and Tesla still has no ETA or clue on when the battery will arrive.

The issue may involve the suspension type: air suspension cars likely don’t require much or any parts mods there as they automatically compensate for weight changes. Steel spring cars may require some rework.

All just a WAG however…

Yes. Interestingly, the other cars that got their suspension parts also replaced happen to be Coil. Mine is also Coil but did not get those parts replaced. I think this goes along with the fact that, at least in the past, they were using different suppliers' parts put in different builds. The SeC's routine explanation is that it all depends on the vehicle configuration, which I now believe to be the case.

I just had my HV & 12 V battery replaced on my 2015 S85D with 68K miles. Car stopped working just before Christmas and I had to have it towed to the Boise ID Service center. Took about 2 1/2 weeks from the time I had the car towed in until it was ready to pick up. Tesla replace my pack with a new 90kw pack, but unsure of the new range since I don't actually have the car yet. Pack was replaced under warranty which expires in May, got it in just under the wire. Very happy with the service. While I was there, I had a problem with the lift gate motor on the rear hatch which they replaced at no cost as "goodwill service" Very happy with the service I received. Here is a list of what they replaced:

As to your new range, it all depends if they software-lock it or not. You have a S85D, but for the RWD model S cars with transplant 1011416-00-C, the reported range has been anywhere from 268 to 298 rated miles.Don't hesitate to let us know what yours is.

my car is a 2015 s85d, the new battery charged to 275 locked and 304 unlocked
the service center told me to expect 305 miles rated for 285 mi/kw

You cannot get a 100 pack. It's too heavy for your car. See article below.
If you had an 85 and they are giving you a 90 they are covered.

If the car had air suspension you can get the 100 pack. @wk057 does these type of upgrades. I mean it would not be a warranty thing.
