Just got my VIN, how long that would be to get my car?

Just got the VIN, but still in the production queue and estimation delivery date is still shown August. What would be the actual delivery? Earlier ? Anyone experienced that?

If you're estimate is the first month of a quarter, there is a chance for early delivery (being brought forward to last month of the quarter). Tesla tends to push hard to maximise each quarter's numbers.

But, given you are already August estimate, that is probably reasonably accurate. That said, no RHD D's have been delivered yet, so there is still a chance that Tesla will push deliveries back for everyone (again - they've done it before).

I ordered P85D and i got my VIN a month ago, the estimated delivery is July. But the delivery specialist told me that it will probably take another month for the shipping and registration etc. =(

I got the VIN for my 70D two weeks after my order in early April 2015. Estimated delivery in September shown on the web but Tesla advised me that it should be in Oct 2015.

Just received a call today from Telsa, he told me that my car is entering for production and I should get my car around mid Aug.

Is it 85D or P85D? What is your VIN number? Mine is 9043X. Want to estimate when will the production of mine commence?
