When you open the door to get out, the music volume drops significantly so you don’t look an idiot with music blaring until you close the door

That's been the case for a while actually ... not sure when it changed but certainly not recently!

My MX has done that since I got it back in October 2019. I just assumed it was normal on all Tesla models.

Odd that my experience is the opposite. Since receiving the car in February, the sound always turned right down when opening the door but recently, it only mutes it a bit if really loud.
How do you set the door open volume. I haven't tried it but would adjusting the volume when the door is open lock it to that setting?
