Hi gang - still in bit of a shock, but I've just placed a deposit for a Model S inventory car. Below are some of the details:

900 miles on odometer
75 kwh
Black paint
Next gen black seats
Dual Motor
All Glass panoramic
19" slipstream with primacy tires
Black Alcantara
Autopilot

Purchase price of 76k with 1k referral included. They'll be waiving all fees (including Doc fee).

Feels like a good deal. This car will replace a 2007 Mazda 6 with 160k miles on it.

Beyond excited. Any tips/suggestions from owners on steps forward would be awesome.

Wow congrats! You are getting a great deal! I have the almost same specs except a 60 and I paid more (6 weeks ago).
I would get to work on a hwpc install... Oh and don't worry about buyers remorse (I did), you will love the car so much you won't regret it.

Thanks very much! I feel like I won't fully process the purchase until I take delivery. Good thing is when I purchased my house I had a NEMA 14-50 plug added to my garage, so I'm ready to go!

Yes, in the same way that a Learjet might "replace" a Cessna. :)

Yeah... I don't think I'm mentally ready for the step up I'm about to experience. The poor Mazda has a hole on the floor and the left side airbags have been deployed (I've stuffed them back into their holding area because repairing them would've totaled the car a couple times over). However, it's been a champ and I will keep it as a backup in case of any emergencies.

there has been other thread about discounts cars going on right now. I think this is the typical discount going on right now for 75D.

Actually I think I get a little bit extra sweetness on mine because the odometer was reading above 50 (900 miles). I believe the standard 75 discount is about 7.6k, which is an attempt to offset the 60 upgrade to 75. Believe this is how it was explained by my specialist.

We installed a HPWC next to our 14-50 plug. If the HPWC goes bad, we will use the 14-50 outlet while the HPWC gets replaced. We really enjoy how easy it is the use the HPWC. Best advice I received prior to our MS getting delivered was to install the HPWC.

I'll look to do this in the future. My daily commute never exceeds 50 miles so I don't foresee it being an issue.
