So basically, I’m thinking now for me and my April 26th order that since I’ve already waited so long they are just gonna leave me until the end of quarter unless I speak up to my SA? I still do not have a VIN
Since I'm May 2, your post makes me feel better, at least I know they didn't forget about me!

Maybe not being the first batch immediately after staff are reluctantly forced back on the line can be a good thing? (At least that's what I'm telling myself)

I just decided to email my SA and ask for an expected time frame just to remind him I exist, although he doesn't work Fridays and Saturdays so I won't be able to hear back until Sunday anyways.

Just got my delivery date! No word on when the car was built though (and I did ask), or any other details other than the VIN.

My deposit date was June 7th. Delivery confirmation phone call was today, June 13th. SR+, white interior, aero wheels, no FSD. I'll be getting my car in almost exactly 10 days since putting in an order: Wednesday, June 17th (that's also after I requested it be pushed from the original offer of Tuesday).

I'm sorry to hear many of you have been waiting a while. You might want to log back into your account and ensure everything is completed. I was told if financing is approved or payment method is confirmed, you will be assigned a VIN first over others who are less complete.

I did get a call yesterday night (Saturday) asking if we could pick up a car today (Sunday) but we had to reject as could only take delivery on weekends and it is not possible to get a bank draft on the weekend. From what I could tell, all banks are closed on the weekend during COVID-19... also it seemed way too rushed. My SA said it isn't guaranteed for next weekend as they want cars to be picked up 3 days upon arrival into Vancouver... but he will try his best so I'm fingers crossed for next weekend! Will update lol

Finally got an update. On June 2nd, I got a text that it would be built in 10 days. Today I got a text that it would be built in 7 days.
Same, just got an update!

June 2: "We currently expect your Model 3 to be ready for delivery 2 - 4 weeks from today."

June 14: "We currently expect your Model 3 to be built in the next 7 days. Once your Model 3 starts moving to your delivery center, we will reach out to schedule your delivery appointment."

My June one was the same as today’s but 10 days instead of 7.

Are you white interior?

Just got the text that it will be built in the next 7 days. Does anyone know once we get our VIN, we need to go to ICBC to get plates as well?

They'll do the ICBC plates right at the delivery center. I'd recommend calling up BCAA ahead of time to get your optional insurance, as it was much cheaper (over $1500). I called BCAA ahead of time to set everything up so that way it's quicker to get it done on delivery day. You just need to forward the email for optional insurance to your ICBC agent and the delivery specialist.
