I went to get my used model S 90D and found out that there is a small dent and scratch marks on the rear bumper. Everything else is in great shape though. The screen is flawless without bubbles or yellow markings. The car drives without any problems.
On the used inventory from Tesla.com site, it stated that the car has a clean history. However, this small dent in the back bumper could be due to a minor accident.
I still bought the car and signed the check because I thought that it is a good deal because it only has 9,378 miles for a 2016 Model S 90D and it has a new face lift.
I saw the battery status at full charge and it was at 294 miles. It lost 0 mile for a 2016 model. It has a price tag of $63,200 without the need for shipping since it was local to where I live.
So my plan is to write a complain letter to the sale representative why the sale ad says "clean history" but there is damaged to the rear bumper. Do you think he/she will give me some compensation even after I have already written the check?
