That's actually Caduceus the symbol for a doctor of medicine.
But yes, it looks very close to the Tesla T from a distance.

So there you have it, not only did they build trucks and helicopters in the 1950's, they did (will?) supply crew for star ships in the 24th century... Makes you kinda wonder, huh?
