Yes it does appear to be the same guys who ordered 11 of them. That's back in September 2008. I forgot to do a search before posting the video:

As we learned, the current drivetrain is not ideal for Autobahn driving.
It can't maintain its' published top speed for long (I think due to motor heat and/or battery current drain limitations), so Tesla may do some sort of drivetrain upgrade someday targeted towards German driving conditions.

BTW 1 - That's a pretty awesome PV station these guys have.

BTW 2 - In the video, the Roadster gets plugged into yet another 400V 3P outlet (must be using one of the phases again). Hint, hint :wink:.
