Glad to hear you can make it! Will have to see how well Willow and Java get along. Super with two footed animals, sometimes touch-and-go with the four-footed kind for the past year.

Drove the dirt Park Tote Road from South Gate to North Gate this afternoon. Almost 3 hours of 44 lumpy dusty miles through spectacular color canopy with Model X suspension set to High.

Roads have been paved since I was here last and a trip up towards Patten for the view won’t be bad at all.
According to nav, the high hill viewing spot just south of Patten is 25 uninterrupted minutes north of Medway. The extra few minutes back to the Rt 11 turnoff would be worth the photo.
Smooth roads continue all the way to the North Gate. Sebois trail picnic and parking is a total of 45 minutes north of Medway and the Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a full 55-60.

FYI No need to go in, but Baxter is the park of No. No fires, no drones, no pets. That includes driving the Park Tote Road.
