Something close by. I believe the brown-fenced transformer pad is being blocked by the truck.

I passed by around 11pm and could see cones blocking off the back half of the lot, several electric utility trucks working. Super chargers were blocked and not lit up. Maybe there was a transformer fire?

Yea, I passed it around 9pm and saw the same. when i went through, the floodlights were on, so they were working on it late.

Seems likely that they cut the power to the Supercharger and its transformer to lower the chance of a gas explosion.

probably true. luckily we took our truck up to camp this weekend, since we had to move some furniture.

(although I can make it from home to our place on about 60% charge anyway)

Since the entrance to the rest area was closed, nobody could get in to charge anyway...

true, but you don't want anything active in that case. if some switch in the cabinets even kicked on a fan, that may have been too much spark.

Right, I meant that, if no one can get there to charge, it's no loss that they killed the power

Stopped to charge at Kennebunk south today, and 1A, 1B, and 3B did not work for me...took one last stab at 4B and it thankfully worked. I was about to give up and sit at the charge point. Several others were pulling into these and I tried telling them. Bad situation with north down and south at least half dead.

Is there a particular Tesla email that is best to inform them of supercharger issues?

I was there yesterday around 5pm, but in our truck, not the Tesla. Sounds like Seabrook may be a safer bet right now, until either Portland is finished, or Kennebunk rest stops are cleaned up.

I don't have a Tesla yet to verify if they are active but they are accessible to vehicles. The construction is blocking one or two of the spots.

Appears to be working, there was a white model S charging.

Any new updates/issues at Kennebunk southbound? I may use it next week if it's fully operational, but can easily skip it if necessary.
