Key Fob/unlocking behavior

The car appears to give 2 options:
1. Unlock all doors when approached with key fob
2. Unlock only the driver door when approached with key fob

Is there a way to have it behave smarter than that?
For example, if you are standing on the passenger side and tap a handle, it would be nice if it would unlock all doors (or at least that one).

Is the key fob smart enough to know where you are in relation to the car? Many other cars behave in this way.

Yes that is correct, but it should be smart enough to not need you to interact with the key fob.

My point is that when the key fob is in your pocket, the car should open the driver's door only if you walk up to the driver's door but should open all doors if you walk up to the passenger door with the fob in your pocket.
