Just lost my last grandfather to cancer last week as well. Wish I had been able to take him for a ride just one last time.
A couple times a year I get reminded about why I believe Elon Musk is the single greatest source of good in the entire world. Perfect example of this on the human level. RT
This just made my day! Thanks @bonnie and everyone else that made it happen! Not all the hope in humanity is lost just yet
It doesn't amaze me at all. I've experienced multiple instances of above and beyond customer service from Tesla without any ulterior motives.
Brought tears to my eyes; go Tesla! Hoping Jon is as comfortable as possible in these tough times, and enjoying his Model 3 with family!
This is soooo awesome and such a beautiful story! Thanks for contributing to help him enjoy his new car!!!!!
There's always one. Best just to ignore than engage. The compassion expressed in this effort really is heartwarming, great job.
I'm so happy to see hear that @Graniteds is the first non-employee/owner to receive his Model 3. I hope you put many, many, many miles on it. - Picture source (bonnienorman) on twitter Bonnie Norman on Twitter
mod note: a few posts moved to snippiness. Most were part of a response chain to an inappropriate comment. For those who reported, I accidentally marked it as rejected, but please be aware it was resolved.
Amazing story, I'm glad he was able to get his Model 3 early! He may want to look at a ketogenic nutrition plan, which I hope can extend his life. More here: The Ketogenic Diet 101: A Detailed Beginner's Guide
Not to let this get lost in all the feels, kudos to @ryanjm for pinging me, making sure I saw the post, and asking how we might help. Takes a village
What a great story, thanks for sharing. It also really makes those "why did so and so get an invite before me" complaints look very silly.
Really nice story - brings tears to my eyes... We all relate this to things that have passed by us in our lives where we have/could not have done something similar. This is really win win - why can't we have more of this...? Good luck to all involved and thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful story.
