I picked up my 2021 M3 SR+ last Sunday. After thoroughly inspecting it from top to bottom I haven't found any defects. Paint is great and the panel gaps all look good.

Picked mine up Friday and I will say the same. Was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised when I picked it up. I have a background in analyzing dimensional variation on body panels and this car was built well even with my sensitivity to it. Great work Tesla team.

After some time you will find paint flaws. My cars looked great initially but after a while I found tiny nibs and spots during cleaning/waxing regimen. There is even an outward bump in the rocker area before the plastic. All found within first weeks of ownership.

After some time, they “might” find paint flaws. I wouldn’t say that’s a given...
I think if you’re looking for flaws that are not normally noticed day to day, you will potentially find them on any car.
My BMW had them. My Jeep had them. But I never notice them, unless your digging in.
