Here are some stats for those who are interested in real life/accurate stats. We just did this drive from Anaheim/LA to Peninsula (Palo Alto area). Temps on I5 were in the 80s (night driving).. 7pm departure - 2am arrival.
Car: Model X 90D
2 Adults/2 kids
Car not fully charged at the beginning of the trip.
Chargers:
Tejon ~9pm.. 1 stall occupied.
Harris: ~11pm. 1 stall occupied.
Gilroy: ~1pm. 0 stall occupied.
Sunday night drive on Memorial Day Weekend.
Autopilot: 95%+ of the miles on I5 (including the climb and descent through Grapevine) and on 101 between Gilroy and Peninsula. Mostly Cruise Control without Autosteer on 152.
