LA visit no Tesla cars?

Business trip to LA and saw not one Tesla on the road? Model S or Roadster.

Stayed in Van Nuys and drove all over the place.

Visited Tesla store in Westfield Centre Canoga and went to Malibu not a
Single sighting to be seen.

It really depends on where you go in Southern California. Come down to Newport Beach, you'll see a few.:smile:

Tesla's new service center is about to open in Van Nuys and their delivery center is in Van Nuys. Couldn't think of a better place to be than Van Nuys to see Teslas.

I live in Sherman Oaks (just next to Van Nuys) and must say that I see at LEAST two Tesla's when I'm driving every day. For years when I was driving my Roadster I wouldn't see any other Roadsters on the road. But that is now no longer the case.

I would guess that there are less than 500 Model S vehicles in Southern California so far (and that is just a SWAG). Out of hundreds of thousands of other vehicles on the road, the chances of seeing one during a short business trip are pretty low.

Must depend on where you are in Los Angeles. I live in Santa Monica and it is not unusual to see 10 or more Tesla's (including my own MS) in a day. It would be very unusual to see less than 4 or so if you are out and about on the westside.

I work in Van Nuys at a "Two Tesla" company! There's another that parks in the office building garage, so that's 3 at least in the 91411!

We have that many in San Diego. LA and Orange County probably have close to 2000.

Well over 900 in the Seattle area, and hitting 300 in the Portland metro.
Someone on the forum has an unofficial spreadsheet of (near) actual delivered by state, thou I'm not sure the source.

I was in LA for a couple days a few weeks ago staying in West Hollywood and saw about 4 Model S vehicles around the area over 2 days.

Was in Silicon Valley recently and saw like 10 in 2 days.

Here in NYC I see them from time to time.

Need to keep your eyes open, you can't hear them coming!

Because they are all in Orange County. I was at St. Joseph hospital today and went Tesla hunting in the parking structure. Found 3, possibly more. They other day at a hotel/gym parking structure in Irvine I saw 2 white ones parked side by side.
