Lane departure avoidance & Forward Collision Warning

I don't know what roads you're using it on. I do not use it in residential/commercial areas where there are pedestrians around, so I can't really say whether I have the same problem, but I expect I would. The manual does clearly state TACC is intended for use on dry, straight highways. In my experience, it works pretty well most of the time in that scenario.
 
The problem is most prevalent on fairly twisty roads so I can see why it happens...the car will momentarily be pointing at the ped's...however there is a white center-line and a pavement edge between me and them...and it has only started happening with such frequency after recent updates.

Maybe in need to move somewhere with nice straight roads?
