mt charleston 2.jpg Has anyone taken the trip from the Las Vegas area to Mt. Charleston NV?

    I believe it's mostly uphill..

    Any charger stations available?

It's about 40miles from the strip...

40 miles uphill? You can do that in a Model S 40 or a Roadster. Or even a Leaf...

Going downhill will regenerate and get you all the charge you need..

40 miles? You'll be fine in any Tesla. Even if the uphill is steep.

Should be fine. I did similar from my house to Mt Baldy is about 60 miles. Regen all the way home costing almost no energy the route back

I live 10 minutes west of the MGM Grand and even hypermiling all the way, my Leaf was only able to make it to the fire station before my range dropped to zero. Was able to coast back down and regen enough to make it home. I don't recommend making that drive in an older Leaf.

We have done this a couple of times. Also Valley Of Fire. No problems from about as far south in Henderson as you can be these days.
