Latest firmware+app is preheating all seats when heating car.

Before, seats were not preheated.
Now, *ALL* seats are preheated with medium effect, regardless of how many was preheated last time.
This is a waste of energy for shorter trips.

I wish the app would remember last config as default when starting HVAC from app. , and so maybe heat one or two seats only.

Ours starts with all off in both a 3 and an X. Weird. Assume you’ve rebooted the car after software was installed? I always do as part of my standard process so no idea if they may have done that if I hadn’t!

My beef is that I need to turn on climate control first. Why not just turn on seat and steering wheel? I don't need cabin heated.

Range Mode when driving? Be sure to turn Range Mode off when charging so it will heat the battery.

Same here on MR Model 3. Turning on Climate Control doesn't turn on seat heating. Touching any of the seats will turn on the respective heater at the maximum setting. Repeated taps will reduce heating by one notch until it's off again.

It all could be solved with my >1 year request to Tesla.
I requested back then, full, and more granular app controls. It bugged me than the 10days a year we have heavy fog, I knew the side mirrors were fogged, but could not turn on heated mirrors before I was in the car.

It looks like it is on from the app, but the seats and wheel doesn’t seem to be warm when I enter the car. If I activate them manually when I am inside, it heats up in 2-3 min.

Let’s face it, the car is great, the app is crap.
Why can’t i decide if i want the hvac at 6 or 9, on feet or windshield?
